Presenting an idea in visuals is something the world cannot do away with. The work of a creative graphic designer is in high demand and this demand is increasing at an increasing rate. This course will help students acquire all the skills and abilities to create meaningful works for their own portfolio.
This module highlights scope and application of graphic design, alignment, balance,
consistency, repetition, contrast, golden triangle, proximity, logo design issues and a
design case study.
In this module, students will learn about the basics of graphic design, typography, colour theory, texture, grid theory and white space. Students will review works of some famous designers and also design business cards, letterheads, book design and web graphics.
In this module, students will learn how to sketch, create visuals in web design,
advertising, magazine design using graphics software including Adobe illustrator,
InDesign and Photoshop.
This module will introduce students to the work and making of Johannes Gutenberg and the introduction of Movable Type, letter spacing and kerning, readability, screen vs print, display vs body using graphic tools.
This module focuses on problem solving. It will capture the importance of research in
design, interpreting a brief, design development and presenting works to clients.
Before applying to join the program, consider the list below to be sure that you qualify.
To join ITEP, you should :
- be between the ages of 15 to 25 years at the time you are applying,
- possess a high school degree or higher,
- have basic or advance computer knowledge
- have a pure passion for technology and design
